Emotion Code Chart
Emotion Code Chart – Dr. Bradley Nelson’s The Emotion Code (2007) offers a new and empowering approach to healing ourselves and others. The Emotional Code explains how our bodies and emotions are made up of energy that can get stuck in us and negatively impact our health. It offers a revolutionary way to find and release those trapped emotions. It is based on scientific evidence, direct experience, energy and spiritual strength. Once these trapped emotions are released, we can free ourselves from the blocks that keep us from feeling good and living our best lives.
Our emotions influence our experiences, thoughts and reactions. Emotional patterns can have a direct impact on our well-being. Emotional baggage prevents us from reaching our potential. Most approaches to emotion management don’t get to the root of the problem the way emotion codes do.

The Emotion Code will help you find and release trapped emotions, paving the way for a healthier and more positive state of mind. It will help you prevent emotional distress and replace negative emotions with positive ones.

The emotion code sheet has six rows and two columns, with 5 emotions in each section (60 emotions total). Each row corresponds to a specific area of the body where trapped emotions affect function and performance.
The emotion code allows us to rearrange our current emotional experience. Changing your mood isn’t easy, but with practice it can have a huge impact on your well-being and happiness.
Imagine spending a lot of time preparing something and being very happy with the result. When you show it to other people, they are very critical of your work. This brings you a negative reaction. This negative emotion can take hold of you and end up being stored as a trapped emotion. However, the authors offer another option.

Emotions come and go. However, they can also get trapped inside us and continue to influence our thoughts, feelings, and health without our knowledge.
When we feel an emotion, our body produces an emotional vibration (such as a vibration of anger, sadness or happiness). Then, we begin to feel the emotion, along with the accompanying thoughts and bodily sensations.
This process takes an instant or lasts longer. In a healthy emotional life cycle, we let our emotions carry on. However, sometimes emotions get stuck. This happens when we repress our emotions instead of facing them, or if we don’t really let them go.

The average person has over 100 trapped emotions and we are often not even aware of them. Blocked emotions can often be traced to relationship issues, criticism, rejection, negative self-talk, loss, or even stress.
Modern Western medicine often deals with the symptoms of pain rather than treating the root of pain. If you have a headache, take a pill that temporarily relieves the pain but doesn’t address the underlying problem. When we feel pain, it is our body that sends us a signal that something is wrong. By paying attention to our pain and getting to its true source, we can truly heal ourselves.
You can find emotion coding practitioners who use the emotion coding method to help people release trapped emotions. These practitioners have treated thousands of clients who have relieved physical pain by releasing trapped emotions.
Social And Emotional Learning
Dr. Bradley Nelson recommends using muscle testing to identify and release our trapped emotions. Muscle testing was developed by Dr. George Goodheart in the 1960s to correct structural imbalances in bones. However, it was soon discovered that it offered additional benefits, such as the opportunity to access information directly from the subconscious.
The idea behind muscle testing is that the subconscious mind knows things that the conscious mind may not. By asking a person questions and then testing how their body responds, we can gain insight into deeper issues that they may not be aware of.
For example, if your muscles weakened after asking a question, the answer to your question was “no.” If tense, the answer is “yes”.

Body rocking can also open insights into the subconscious mind. Stand straight with your feet shoulder-width apart. Take a few deep breaths to completely relax and try to clear your mind. Then, say your name. Your body should rock forward within a few seconds. Then try to lie about your name. Within seconds, your body will rock backwards. I tried and it works.
Now that you’ve established a solid foundation of testing, you can use it to gain a better understanding of your subconscious mind. First, ask yourself, “Am I experiencing a trapped emotion?” You will probably rock forward. If you don’t, it’s probably because you have a blockage in your system. The book Emotional Code describes several approaches to use in this situation.
Assuming you move forward, you can now follow the emotion code table and start spotting trapped emotions by asking where they are stored and what they are.

Once you discover where the emotion is trapped, use yes-or-no questions to figure out when the emotion is trapped. Keep asking yourself questions until you find the answer.
Since our bodies are actually made of energy, healthy energy is needed for a healthy mind and body.
Blocked emotions affect the way we think, feel and react, often without our knowledge. The author compares them to energy balls that get stuck inside us. They are powerful and invisible forces, but they affect the way we think, feel and react.

These trapped emotions can also cause us to overreact to situations. This new situation can be exaggerated by trapped emotions. For example, the author gives an example of a trapped feeling of helplessness leading to a fear of flying. Once the trapped emotion is released, the phobia is healed. Another example is when someone’s innocent comment or remark causes you to completely overreact because you are being controlled by a trapped emotion.
Often, the way we feel and act now is the result of past energy blockages. The Emotional Code was developed to release these blockages. The longer these barriers stay in our bodies, the more damage they cause (mentally and physically). Therefore, it is important for us to release these trapped emotions.
The reason trapped emotions cause physical pain is that these energy balls are found within the body and their energy affects surrounding tissue.

Ancient physicians observed a correlation between certain emotions and associated physical problems. For example, people who are often angry tend to have liver or gallbladder disease, while people who are often sad have lung or colon problems.
The emotion code method explains that we store certain emotions in specific areas. See the emotion code table above. The Emotion Code Table helps you locate trapped emotions and corresponding areas of the body.
The Emotion Code Sheet should be used by a certified practitioner trained to locate parts of the body affected by trapped emotions and then identify which emotions are trapped.
Emotion Code — Spiritual Changemaker
Believe it or not, one of the most powerful tools for releasing trapped emotions is a simple fridge magnet.
Once you’ve located a trapped emotion and discovered when and where it’s been stored, it’s time to release it. Because trapped emotions are made of energy, they can be released with equal and opposite waves of energy. This energy has to collide with it to wash it away. This is similar to the technology used in noise canceling headphones. They sense the frequency of external sound waves and generate the opposite frequency to balance the sound waves.
When it comes to letting go of emotions, a simple refrigerator magnet is the perfect tool to help generate that counter-energy. Once you find the trapped emotion, slide the magnet down your back or over your head 3 to 10 times (if the emotion is genetic). Keep doing this until you release the trapped emotion.
