An illustration on the screen will by no means appear exactly as it does when printed. Printing is a complex process and we expect our customers to have a certain level of tolerance to certain aspects of printing, especially color. To add color control, ask for a quote or request a hard copy to get you the appropriate fee and allow extra time to complete your work.

Everything You Need To Know About Brochure Folds
Folding brochure printing is a style that rarely comes together. They are also called “open gates” or simply “single gates”. These should not be confused with the double gate (or “closed gate”) brochure. The difference between these styles is one. For example, a single fold in an 11×17 brochure is 8.5×11, and a double fold is 4.25×11. But to create a double gate, a third fold is made in the center, creating a 4-panel brochure.
Each brochure order is evaluated and assembled prior to shipment. To help with the ordering process, we list our unfolded and folded sizes.
Tip: It helps to fold a sheet of paper (bonus points if it’s the same size you plan to design, but any size will do) and once folded, number the outer and inner panels 1-6. Then open the sheet and you’ll see which panels go where in the piece.
