P90x2 Workout Schedule Template Ripped – It’s true, and I’m not quite sure how to describe why. Much has changed. I am a better person. I am a better husband. I am a better father.

In January 2011 (left photo above) I had what my wife called, “muffin stop”. I was on anti-anxiety and anti-depressants, my blood pressure was 135/85, I had high cholesterol AND I had two beautiful children. Good times, aren’t they!

I entered the world of Tony Horton and P90X not by choice, but because I needed a change. I wanted to be there for my children. I thought it would work… Hell no! But I had to do something.

In March 2011 I stepped on the scale and I had lost 35 kilos… My God! I didn’t miss a day, I didn’t cheat, I did it.

I became a Beachbody Coach for the discount, which honestly isn’t bad but really taught me a lot about myself. I helped people “buy” P90X but that’s about it. I didn’t really know that my life would change in a few months, I didn’t understand what it was about.

Next came a long trip to our summer home in Wisconsin. Didn’t want to travel with weights, so now what. The insanity required nothing so why not. Boom goes dynamite. Madness over.

Got depressed, ate a lot, gained weight, felt like crap, started getting depressed again, well… I’m going to stop because I have nothing to offer.

Wait! I started getting messages. Why don’t you write, where are your motivational tweets, why don’t you follow, why don’t you care, where did you go? My team trusted me.

I got my wife involved, we did a P90X/Insanity hybrid. We pre-examined P90X2, we had to get back in shape. Like now! We got through it. We helped others, we created challenge groups, we encouraged. We became addicted. I got a better job, my confidence was back. Only the imagination sets limits.

This is the very image that rocked my world almost a year ago today, a simple New Years party image. Yes, you look at yourself in the mirror every day, you probably haven’t stepped on the scale in a while, but you don’t realize what you’ve done to yourself until you see it from a different perspective.

Without doubling, I would probably still be the same. On anxiety/depressive, high cholesterol, borderline high blood pressure, living a “fun” life. fun? Yes, it is easy to deceive yourself when you are not satisfied.

I decided to change, I decided to set goals, I decided to make my life better for me and my family. A year has passed and I stuck to my vows, I stuck to eating healthy, I stuck to pressing play on the DVD player every day, I fell, I faltered, I tripped. Was it hard, hell yes, was it unpleasant, absolutely. It was the best thing I ever did, without a doubt in my mind. I used P90X, Insanity, TurboFire and Shakeology to change my life (see Vital Statistics).

Think about how YOU want to feel in a year, how you want to live your life and whether you want to change or not. I did it, my wife has done it, heck…my kids even love jumping with us in the living room. It’s a family affair.

I was at Sports Authority today looking around and talking to people, and I ended up with dozens of these boxes stacked and hanging. Had to do a double take huh??? Extreme vs Supreme, wondering which is better. When I took a closer look at the box, it became pretty clear what was going on with this. For fun, I’ll break it down for you and then I’ll describe what does NOT go with the box.

What Is The Best At Home Workout Program?

Whether this exercise actually works, I have absolutely no idea. Most website links have “coming soon” pages including their Alumni link. In fact, their support page goes to a completely dead link. The main point I’m trying to make is that people tend to scam good things away, even going so far as to use fraud to make a quick buck. It’s almost like when people vote by name recognition and actually vote for the wrong person just because the name sounded familiar.

It taught you about adaptation, mastery, recovery and how to train in phases with transitions in between. For P90X2, these principles continue, but allow for more individuality. It’s designed to let you get the most out of it for YOUR schedule. Each training phase and recovery period is designed to be tailored to your specific training needs.

The Best Alternatives To P90x (updated March 2020)

The P90X2 plan is a little different from what you’ve seen in P90X. We still have 3 “phases”, but each phase is not exactly 30 days, 4 weeks or 1 month. Each P90X2 phase requires mastery in order to move on to the next. If you’re not quite ready to reach Phase 2, don’t. Continue to build strength, flexibility, core balance. One of the biggest changes you’ll notice is that P90X2 now has a 5-day workout schedule, with Day 3 also being a recovery day.

The first phase of training focuses on your foundation, or more specifically your connection to the earth. This doesn’t just refer to the feet, but the entire kinetic chain… meaning the musculoskeletal and nervous systems. If your foundation isn’t solid, the others definitely won’t be when you try to do something explosive. The goal of phase 1 is to help you create a solid connection to the ground so you can do all the other movements without compromising your form.

Day 1:  X2 Core – Human activity occurs in the form of an X across the body from one arm down through the core to the leg and the same on the other side. A great cross, all powered by the power and synergy generated from the core. In P90X2, it’s almost as if the X now stands for that aspect of human kinesiology. The core is the foundation of our body; the point where all movement begins. By working our core with instability, we force our bodies to fire both their propulsive and stabilizer muscles in unison… ahhh.

Day 2:  Plyocide – Called… Death by plyometrics? Plyocide combines traditional explosive movements with mind and coordination exercises to increase not only speed and endurance, but the entire mind-body connection.
